SANGU and Silknet Signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
Organized by the Department of Employment and Career Development, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between SANGU and one of Georgia’s leading telecommunications companies, Silknet.
The memorandum aims to establish a strategic partnership between the parties, which will promote:
- the professional development and employment opportunities of students and graduates;
- a closer connection between the education sector and the demands of the modern labor market;
- the promotion of innovative and practical learning;
- the strengthening of collaboration between the private and academic sectors.
Under the memorandum, the parties agreed on the following key areas of cooperation:
- Educational activities: organization of joint trainings, seminars, workshops, and panel discussions that will enable students to gain more practical knowledge and skills.
- Innovative initiatives: organization of contests, hackathons, ideathons, and masterclasses to identify young talents and foster their creative potential.
- Support for employment and internships: Silknet will actively participate in university job fairs and offer internship programs to students, helping them gain valuable professional experience in real work environments.
- Recruitment support: in case of new staff requirements, SANGU will assist the company by identifying and recommending potential candidates.
- Sharing knowledge and experience: both parties will collaborate to improve academic programs and align them with modern market needs to enhance graduates’ competitiveness.
