Training on the Methodology for Developing and Evaluating Educational Programmes and Course Syllabi
On June 24, 25, and 26, the Quality Assurance and Strategic Development Office organized a three-day training entitled “Methodology for Developing and Evaluating Educational Programmes and Course Syllabi,” led by the Head of the Office, Baia Japaridze.
The training sessions focused on current approaches to the planning, development, and evaluation of educational programmes and course syllabi. The event was attended by programme directors, academic staff, and invited lecturers of the University.
During the training, participants discussed contemporary trends in higher education quality assurance and explored key topics, including:
- the fundamental principles of educational programme planning, development, and enhancement;
- the formulation of learning outcomes, their measurability, and assessment methodology;
- mandatory requirements and practical cases for developing syllabi in accordance with modern educational standards.
The initiative was aimed at supporting the professional development of the University's academic and invited staff, contributing to the continuous improvement of educational programmes and course syllabi and their alignment with international quality standards.
