Meeting with the Public Affairs Counselor of the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia
On December 6, 2023, Archbishop of Bodbe Iakob met with Alexander N. Daniels, Public Affairs Counselor of the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia and Sophie Bzishvili, Higher Education Team Lead.
On December 6, 2023, Archbishop of Bodbe Iakob (Iakobishvili), the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia at St. Andrew the First-Called Georgian University (SANGU), and professor Irakli Brachuli, Rector of SANGU, held a meeting with Alexander N. Daniels, Public Affairs Counselor of the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia and Sophie Bzishvili, Higher Education Team Lead.
During the meeting, the participants explored ongoing developments within the scope of mutual cooperation, specifically focusing on education and other relevant areas. The highlight of the discussion was the joint master’s degree international program in Cybersecurity between SANGU and Northern Kentucky University (NKU).
Parties agreed to maintain successful partnership and outlined future strategies.
