Georgian National Academy of Sciences celebrated World Science Day, aimed at strengthening the role of science in society, highlighting its importance in everyday life and informing citizens about innovative scientific achievements, with a ceremonial session.
During the event, distinguished scientists were awarded with nominal prizes and certificates, including the rector of Georgian University Irakli Brachuli, SANGU education expert, doctor of philosophy Anastasia Zakariadze and guest lecturer of SANGU, academic doctor of philology Saba Metreveli, was awarded with an honorary certificate for his scientific achievements in the field of philology.
