Mock Trials for School Children

Georgian University gives you a unique chance to participate in a mock trial and learn more about the legal profession. Mock trials are designed from 8 to 12 graders.

Mock trials cover issues such as:

• The rights of the accused;
• Proceedings;
• Conducting an investigation;
• Interrogation of a witness;
• The technique of drawing up an arrest report;
• The essence of the investigative experiment;
• Search and seizure procedure.
• Specifics of civil proceedings;
• subject of dispute;
• Parties;
• Examination of evidence;
• The specifics of the lawsuit and the counterclaim;
• The role of the judge in hearing disputes.

 The training includes 3 sessions for three weeks every Saturday at 12:00. The duration of each training is 45-50 minutes.

 Processing:

Trainings in the relevant field will be held on June 11 and 18;

On June 18, participants will be introduced to case studies and case materials;

A mock trial will be held on June 25 in the hall for mock trials.
