Presidential Scholarship Program at Seoul National University

The presidential scholarship program at Seoul National University allows international students to be admitted at Doctoral educational program at the university. International applications are available in both Korean and English. Scholarship holders will be fully funded for six semesters of tuition at Seoul National University, a Korean language course, travel expenses (economy class airfare) and medical insurance. A candidate admitted to the university, for a maximum of 4 years, will also receive a monthly scholarship of 1,500.00-2,000,000 Korean won (approximately $ 1,250-1,600). For the spring semester of 2022, online applications will be accepted from July 5 to July 15, 2021. The competition is open to students who do not yet have a PhD. The priority areas of funding are: engineering, medicine, healthcare, agriculture, development sciences and Korean studies.
