The company Staracademy is announcing a competition for university students with refugee status.
“Summer Work & Travel” is a summer cultural exchange program approved by the US Department of State. Under the program, participants work in the United States for 3 months and are given 1 month to travel to the United States (voluntarily).
The following can participate in the competition:
- Persons with IDP status from the occupied territories;
- Age 18-26 years;
- English proficiency level - from B1;
- Persons with active student status;
Contestants must meet all the specified conditions.
Funding includes:
- Program participation fee;
- To/from air tickets;
- 3-day seminar in NEW YORK CITY;
- Costs of accommodation, meals and activities during the workshop;
- Providing employment during the summer;
- Transportation to work;
- Health insurance;
- Providing safety in the territory of the USA;
Funding does not include:
- Payment of visa fee ($160);
- House/food expenses while working, which should be covered by your salary.
